Having shot the BTS and EPK for Greyhound before its transition from Sony to Apple TV+, Herzog & Co.’s Post team was a natural fit to create featurettes for the film’s pre- & post-launch, as well as for partner pages and socials. Using BTS and feature, we detailed how Greyhound’s most suspenseful moments were brought to life, and the practical challenges of shooting on a real World War II destroyer, the USS Kidd, moored in Louisiana. Additionally, commentary from the film’s writer and star, Tom Hanks, revealed his perspectives acting as both the commander of Greyhound in the film and needing to find the confidence to lead, while also ensuring the story was brought to life in an authentic and humanistic manner.
