In 2005, Herzog & Co. partnered with Playtone and Lockheed to produce this 40-minute IMAX film that tells the story of the 12 men who walked on the moon. Narrated by Tom Hanks, Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D won a Space Frontier Foundation Award and also features voices from Paul Newman, Matt Damon, John Travolta, Bryan Cranston, and Morgan Freeman.
