When Focus Features went into production on Promising Young Woman, they knew this timely story needed a particularly skilled, low-profile team to capture on-location BTS in Los Angeles, as well as filmmaker and talent EPK in a way that respected the devastating nature of the film. During post, Herzog & Co. produced both marketing and home entertainment featurettes. These pieces not only highlighted Emerald Fennell’s experience as a first-time feature director, but also the process of bringing Promising Young Woman to life both practically and through the use of filmmaker and talent EPK that meaningfully explores the themes behind the film.
