The Herzog & Co. Design Division partnered with Lucasfilm to create the ultra-wide audio/visual backdrop for the Star Wars booth at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. The piece, which combined green screen footage, feature film clips, photographs, and custom animation, highlighted the evolution of the stormtrooper, both from a design perspective and as an icon in the Star Wars universe. It also introduced fans to the new “Sith Trooper,” which debuted in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
